Lantau Basecamp is Hong Kong’s first trail running retailer. Based in Mui Wo, Lantau—Hong Kong’s largest island and a Mecca of outdoor sports enthusiast—it is as much a local neighborhood hangout, a source of knowledge, and a pit stop for Lantau Island adventures. Lantau Basecamp purposely has its store located near the trail head of many hiking routes on Lantau Island, rather than in a shopping area.

Partnering with Lantau Basecamp, we have updated Lantau Basecamp’s brand to holistically reflect the store’s evolution from being solely catering to elite runners to the broader audience. Both casual and elite athletes who crave for a nature escape on Lantau Island and other parts of Hong Kong. We had conducted workshops to identify Lantau Basecamp’s core values and brand personality and developed methods to enhance Lantau Basecamp’s brand experience though seminars, customer advice, and outdoor athletic activities.

We have evolved Lantau Basecamp’s brand perception from an overly technical one to an emotive one—Lantau Basecamp is a catalysis of people experiencing pure bliss in being their true self on an outdoor adventure.
